HOWDY!

The counseling process is not an easy journey and I applaud your bravery and courage for taking that difficult first step by reaching out.

I will never start a therapy session with an agenda or script. Rather, I operate intuitively and believe that clients should be in the “drivers’ seat” guiding the session. My main goal as a clinician is to be a reliable support and sounding board for you to be able to clearly hear your true self and become re-acquainted with your intuition. It is also my duty to assist you in navigating through an array of life concerns, which may or may not include: major life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, self-esteem issues, stress, blocks/fears, and self-growth. I consider it an honor to walk with you through your darkest times as well as your greatest!

I graduated from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. 3 years later, I graduated from St. Mary’s University – San Antonio with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the years, I have worked in various work environments including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a residential treatment center for tween/teen girls, a police department, and volunteered at a Crisis Helpline for college students. I have a diverse skill set which has been shaped by my previous work experiences and I look forward to sharing these skills with you.

Throughout my clinical experience, I have learned that most clients already have the answers that they are searching for and it is my job to create a safe and healing environment for you to discover those answers. I absolutely love what I do because of all the unique and wonderful clients I have the pleasure of working with.

I encourage you to come exactly as you are. Judgement is something you will never encounter during a session with me. Rather, you will find respect, empathy, support, honesty, new perspectives, and lots of humor!

You matter, your story matters, and I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
